Back on the Trail... Really!
Thanks you to our friends Cathy and Bill for transporting us to where we left off in Cherokee Park. A beautiful and serene spot for our first night out.
George's first attempt at hanging the bear bags. A necessity after our first encounter with a bear 100 feet from our camp the night we stayed up with Balthazar.

This pronghorn was not sure about us. Our horses wear bear-bells and make quite a lot of noise. This guy watched us come and go for quite a distance.
Our backcountry horseman friend from Glendevy. He helped us with our route, provided a horse trailer for the horses overnight and gave us a care package for the trail.
