A port in the storm. Trying to return to Livermore to bring Balthazar home. We stayed 2 nights, hosted by Laura and Brian, and mom Carol.
Round pen for the horses and an old Chevy for us provided shelter from the rain. They upgraded us to their 4-runner the second night which had heat and fold down seats.
Balthazar back where he belongs at GEMS. He will be evaluated an either re-homed or put out to sanctuary with other untamable Mustangs. It was a bumpy ride getting him there. One blowout on the trailer, one loosing tread, and another about to go. Three new tires later we managed to get him home. Nothing came easy with Balthazar. Nonetheless, he will be missed!
